In my Media and Journalism 187 class, we were in the UI/UX unit and used AI and Figma to design a website using a list of given topics. For this project, the theme I decided to design was Four Trailblazing Women in the World of Fashion.
The purpose of this MEJO 187 assignment was to use HTML and CSS code to build a website. Using AI for the body text and one image, the prompt I decided to pursue was The Most Remote Places On Earth.
My final project in MEJO 187 is a single-page web app that features a main interactive graphic and data visualization in the form of a Flourish chart. It analyzes the economic effects of Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” on the US and includes visual design, information architecture, branding, HTML, CSS, Flex, and JavaScript. The link must be viewed in either Safari or Firefox otherwise it will not display correctly.
City Project Website with Blog and Funding Page
The summer of 2024 I participated in Summit College’s City Project program which is a two-month, intensive discipleship and missional experience where students serve locally, nationally, and internationally. I had to support raise $5,500 for this trip and in order to do this I created my own website with blog updates and I also sold my own artwork.
